Weekly Planner – June 7-14

Happy Wednesday, Yorkites! Here’s your weekly roundup of our best bets for this week in York.

WEDNESDAY Stop by the Town Square – we hear there are lots of good deals to be had at MacDonnell’s Furs, including a rumoured huge markdown on beaver hats, for a limited time only.

THURSDAY Pick up a new book or some kicknacks from the General Store.

FRIDAY  Postmaster Allan should be from his quarterly mail-fetching walk to Quebec. Stop by his house on Frederick to collect your letters and welcome him back from the three-week journey.

SATURDAY We hear the weather is going to hold out, so head down to the docks and picnic by the water–if you can stand the smell of the fish.

SUNDAY Church. Obviously. One of our staff hears from a close friend of Strachan’s that this sermon is “his best since April 1812”.

MONDAY Not sure what to do with all that benevolence Strachan inspired in you yesterday? Head down to the infirmary and help our lovely nurses get their washing done a little bit earlier today. Plus, they’re pretty.

TUESDAY Unwind from a busy week with a pint (or several) at Hog’s Head Tavern.
